When Submitting a CV / Resume

  1. Consent and Authorization: By submitting your CV, you grant the resource permission to store, process, and share your personal and professional information for recruitment purposes, subject to applicable data protection laws.
  2. Accuracy of Information: You agree that the information provided in your CV is accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge. Any false or misleading information may result in disqualification from consideration or termination of any subsequent employment.
  3. Confidentiality: The resource agrees to treat your CV and any accompanying documents as confidential and will not share them with unauthorized third parties. However, the resource may share your CV with relevant internal personnel, prospective employers, or trusted partners involved in the recruitment process.
  4. Ownership and Usage Rights: You retain ownership of your CV, but by submitting it, you grant the resource a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display your CV for recruitment purposes only.
  5. Compliance with Applicable Laws: Both parties agree to comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including but not limited to data protection and privacy laws, during the submission, storage, processing, and sharing of CVs.
  6. Non-Discrimination: The resource commits to fair and unbiased treatment of CVs received, adhering to equal opportunity principles and applicable anti-discrimination laws. However, the resource does not guarantee any specific outcome, interview, or employment.
  7. Limitations of Liability: The resource shall not be held responsible for any direct or indirect damages, loss of data, or any other harm resulting from the submission or use of CVs, unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
  8. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from the submission of CVs will be resolved amicably through negotiation or alternative dispute resolution methods. If not resolved, the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the relevant jurisdiction.
  9. Modifications and Termination: The resource reserves the right to modify or terminate the terms and conditions at any time, and such changes will become effective upon notification or publication on the resource’s website or other communication channels.

When Buying a CyberTED Online Course

1. Introduction

1.1 These terms and conditions govern the use of our online courses (“Courses”).

1.2 By accessing or purchasing our Courses, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Course Enrolment

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to enrol in our Courses.

2.2 You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the enrolment process.

3. Course Access

3.1 Upon successful enrolment and payment, you will be granted access to the Course materials.

3.2 Access to the Courses is non-transferable and intended for individual use only.

4. Payment and Refund Policy

4.1 Payment for Courses must be made in full before access is granted.

4.2 We reserve the right to change Course prices and refund policies at our discretion.

4.3 Refund requests must be made within 7 days of the initial purchase.  There will be costs involved with refunds. 

5. Course Content

5.1 All Course materials, including but not limited to videos, texts, and downloadable resources, are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

5.2 You may not distribute, reproduce, or share Course content without our written permission.

5.3 We reserve the right to update, modify, or remove Course content at any time.

5.4 After the completion of all the modules and successful completion (70% pass rate) of the modules, you will receive an attendance certificate.

5.5 The student can certify at a certifiable centre.

6. Student Conduct

6.1 You agree to engage respectfully and professionally with instructors and fellow students.

6.2 Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will result in immediate removal from the Course without a refund.

7. Privacy Policy

7.1 We collect and store personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

7.2 You consent to the use of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

8.1 We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of Course content.

8.2 We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from your use of Course content.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our Courses.

10. Termination

10.1 We reserve the right to terminate your access to the Courses at our discretion, without notice.

10.2 Upon termination, you will lose access to Course content, and no refund will be provided.

Employer Seeking to Fill Vacancies

1. Definitions a. “Platform” refers to the service or website through which employers seek CVs. b. “Employer” refers to the entity or individual using the Platform to search for CVs. c. “Job Seeker” refers to individuals who have uploaded their CVs to the Platform. d. “CV” refers to the curriculum vitae or resume submitted by Job Seekers.

2. Use of the Platform a. The Platform provides employers with access to CVs of registered Job Seekers. b. Employers agree to use the Platform for legitimate employment-related purposes only.

3. Privacy and Data Handling a. The Platform shall handle all CVs and personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws. b. Employers shall use CVs obtained through the Platform in accordance with their privacy policies and applicable laws. c. Employers shall not disclose, sell, or share CVs or personal data with third parties without the explicit consent of the Job Seeker.

4. Job Postings a. Employers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of job postings on the Platform. b. Employers agree not to post discriminatory, offensive, or illegal job listings.

5. Fees and Payments a. The Platform may charge fees for accessing CVs or posting job listings, as specified in separate pricing agreements. b. Employers agree to pay all applicable fees in a timely manner.

6. Job Seeker Contacts a. Employers agree not to contact Job Seekers for any purpose other than legitimate employment inquiries. b. Unsolicited marketing or harassment of Job Seekers is strictly prohibited.

7. Liability a. The Platform is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or truthfulness of CVs or job postings. b. Employers agree to indemnify and hold the Platform harmless from any claims or disputes arising from their use of the Platform.

8. Termination a. The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate an Employer’s access to CVs or job postings for violations of these terms and conditions.

9. Governing Law a. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction].

10. Amendments a. The Platform reserves the right to update these terms and conditions, and such updates shall be effective upon posting on the Platform.

11. Severability a. If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

12. Waiver a. The failure of the Platform to enforce any provision of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

By using the Platform to access CVs, employers agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
